In 2016, Stein once again ran for president on the Green Party ticket alongside human rights activist Ajamu Baraka as her running mate. Together they received 1,457,216 votes (1%), more than doubling their vote total from 2012. As of June 2018, there are a total of 247 elected green officials across the United States; these officials hold positions at both the local and state levels

The party is also critical of capitalism and the two-party system in the United States. The Socialist Party was founded in 1901 by a group of socialists who were dissatisfied with the direction of the Democratic Party and the Republican Party. The party’s first presidential candidate was Eugene V. Debs, who ran for president in 1904, 1908, 1912, and 1920. In 2016, the party nominated presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.

The Anarchist Party
The Anarchist Party is a radical left wing political party in the United States. The party advocates for a society without government or private property. The party was founded in 2016 and is most active on the West Coast of the United States.
The Socialist Workers Party
The Socialist Workers Party (SWP) is a radical left wing party in the United States. The party was founded in 1938 by James P. Cannon, Max Shachtman, and other members of the Communist League of America who disagreed with the direction of the Communist Party USA. The SWP describes itself as ” revolutionary Marxist, working class party” that is “committed tobringing socialist revolution to the United States”.
The party has had a number of prominent members, including Angela Davis, Cornel West, andFidel Castro. The SWP has also been involved in a number of controversies, most notably its support for Leon Trotsky during the Russian Revolution and its involvement in the May 1937 Memorial Day Massacre in Chicago.
Today, the SWP is active in a number of social justice campaigns and operates a number of socialist education centers across the United States.

The party’s ultimate aim is not only to contribute to the overthrow of U.S. imperialism but also “to build an internationalist communist movement that can lead humanity out of the morass of imperialism and exploitation” by “working as hard as possible to transform society here in the interests of human emancipation.” The RCP has been described by some commentators as Maoist and as Trotskyist; however, it does not consider itself to be dogmatically bound by either ideology.
The RCP is headquartered in New York City, with offices in several other cities. It publishes a newspaper called Revolution, as well as books and pamphlets through its publishing arm, RCP Publications.
The National Liberation Front
