Introduction
Why do people from other countries think they can talk about our politics? I mean, it’s not like they have any skin in the game, right? They don’t live here, they don’t pay taxes here, they don’t vote here… so why do they think they can have an opinion on our politics?
It drives me crazy when I see people from other countries talking about US politics as if they know what they’re talking about. I’m not saying that they can’t have an opinion, but it would be nice if they could at least get their facts straight. A lot of the time, it seems like people from other countries are just parroting what they’ve heard on the news or read online, and they don’t really seem to understand the issues in depth.
I understand that US politics can be interesting to people from other countries, but I wish they would leave the commentary to those of us who actually live here and understand what’s going on.

Conclusion
It is hard to have a conversation about politics with someone from another country, because they usually don’t know what they’re talking about. I get it, you want to be interested in what’s going on in the world. But when you don’t know anything about a country’s politics, it’s best to just stay quiet.
